90 Day Fiance star Lidia has had a negative persona because of her role in Pedro and Chantel’s love story. But now, the woman who stopped her son from finding love abroad is herself dating an American man. However, her honeymoon phase seems already endangered because of Scott’s shocking past. In the latest episode, Lidia and her beau were accompanied by her daughter Nicole who was acting as a translator. Evidently, the star kid has always been skeptical about Scott’s intentions, but his shocking revelation further ignited her doubts.
Nicole inquired about how Scott’s last relationship ended. The latter simply claimed that his Colombian ex-girlfriend stopped contacting him. The star kid further continued and asked about her age. Intially, Scott was hesitating but revealed that she was just 29 years old, leaving the mother-daughter duo in shock. In an exclusive clip by ET, Lidia wondered if Scott was into younger women, then what he was doing with her, who was eight years older than him! However, the American native was smart enough to have an escape answer. He simply claimed that “age is just a number,” and he focuses mainly on “personality.”

Nicole was quick to judge and claimed that Scott’s ex-girlfriend was perhaps with him because of his money. She is not convinced that the 29-year-old would be “in love” with him at all. The star kid got a bit inquisitive and asked her mother if her new boyfriend had bought a gift for her ever. Lidia revealed that Scott has never got anything for her during their entire dating experience. This made Nicole further doubt the foreigner’s intentions as he used to spend money on his younger girlfriend but is not doing the same with the 90 Day Fiance star.
However, Scott was again smart enough to cover up the situation. He explained that this time, he bought a gift for Lidia with the help of his mother and went to his room to get it as well. This conversation left Lidia puzzled. She admitted that Scott’s mother being excited about the gift more than him is weird for her.
