Steven Burton Signs A Contract!
Fans of Days of Our Lives have been treated to a whirlwind of returns lately. From Bo and Hope to Megan and from Cin to Harris Michaels, too many of our favourite faces have returned. But the big question on everyone’s mind has been, who’s sticking around and who’s just here for the Beyond Salem storyline? While the return of beloved couple Bo and Hope was exciting, some fans suspected it wouldn’t last long. The same went for “Cin”, as actor Robert Scott Wilson is already playing another character on the show.
But what about Harris Michaels? It seemed like he might be sticking around for a little while, but how long. Well, wonder no more! Actor Steve Burton confirmed that he had signed a one-year contract with Days of Our Lives. Although it wasn’t an easy decision, Steve admits that signing a contract with DOOL is something he may not have considered before.
Steve has successful businesses, enjoys coaching people, and cherishes his time with his children, so his life was already fulfilling. Initially, his appearance on Beyond Salem: Chapter 2 was only meant to be brief. But he is now more receptive to the idea of staying on longer. He loves acting, and the opportunity to return to the show was too good to pass. After being in the entertainment business for 36 years, he feels grateful that people are still calling him.
What’s in store for Harris On Days Of Our Lives?
The sky’s the limit! With “Bope” leaving soon, it seems pretty clear that Harris is going to lose out on a connection with Hope. But in Salem, anything is possible. In his original run, Harris’ only real connection was to Eve. However, with her gone, there’s really no one who has to tie him in any one direction. So buckle up, Days of Our Lives fans! We’ve got a whole year to find out where Harris Michaels will head next.
Also, with all the surprises that Salem has in store, it’s sure to be a wild ride! Will he find a new love interest in Salem, or will he go on a new adventure?
