General Hospital fans had been eagerly waiting for Emma Samms’ return as Holly Sutton to Port Charles. The last time she was on the soap (November, 2022), she left fans wanting for more. But the wait is now over, since Holly finally reappeared on the ABC soap on April 17, 2023. Initially, Holly’s return was scheduled for April 14, 2023, however, the episode was preempted that day. But what’s that saying about delayed gratification? Oh yeah! It’s always better! And so was her return when she emerged in Venezuela in an attempt to save her son, Ethan!
In a recent chat with Soap Opera Digest, Emma Samms expressed her delight over her return to General Hospital. After her previous stint, the versatile actress had pointed that she’d be open to return for another short stint. Ofcourse, depending on the storyline, availability and her ability to come from her home in England, to the studio in California. Of Course, her battle with Long-COVID was to be taken into account too. However, she is now back on the soap, and showed gratitude towards her husband, Simon, for coming over with her. “That has made all the difference, really,” she asserted.
Emma Samms Always Feels Welcomed On General Hospital
The General Hospital star shared that it is always a joy for her to be on the soap. Moreover, she added that everyone is always so welcoming of her, and that makes her feel so comfortable. Currently, on the soap, Felecia has traveled to Venezuela to help Holly rescue her son, and seek her help in stopping Victor. Emma contends that Holly and Felicia make a great team. Furthermore, she teases that their scenes will be funny as well as dramatic in the upcoming episodes! That would be in sync with GH’s theme of entwining humor and high-stake drama!
The fan-favorite star further promised that it is a very good storyline and will also be very fast-paced. So do not miss out on any of the upcoming episodes! Felecia and Holly are already doing their best to save Ethan, by bidding on him at the auction. Meanwhile, Victor is heading straight to Venezuela on The Haunted Star.
