On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the LPBW star went live with her good friend, Lisa. That’s when they began discussing Amy’s struggles during motherhood. Lisa revealed that being a mother was one of Amy’s greatest dreams. But she and Matt had to struggle a lot while conceiving.
Amy opened up about this by saying she often had health issues like irregular periods. At last, the ex-LPBW couple turned to a fertility clinic to help them extend their family. At last, it was a joyous moment for the Roloff matriarch when she found out she would be having twins. Earlier, it would worry her how she would carry two babies while being a little person. But, knowing she was pregnant with Zach and Jeremy helped her feel confident, and she knew she was “capable” of going through with it.
However, while all this was happening, Amy revealed that she and her then-husband Matt had hit a rough patch in their marriage. Apparently, the couple had just moved to Oregon back when she just had her twin sons. So, Amy used to be “by herself” while taking care of her baby boys as her former husband would be off to work. LPBW fans deduced that this must be from when the couple began having marital troubles until they got a divorce in 2016.
