Mama June is all set to return to the TV screens with a brand new season of her show. Fans have eagerly been waiting to see the Shannon family in action once again. Last time, the show wrapped up with Pumpkin fighting a custody battle with her mother for her sister, Honey Boo Boo. The new season which is known as “family crisis,” is going to feature the aftermath of the same. Well, a glimpse into the new season gave away that June and Pumpkin are still bitter with each other. The former also accused her daughter of “blindsiding” her. Why did the matriarch say this?

Mama June and her daughters are all set to take over TV screens again. Their brand new season, Family Crisis, is all set to premiere on WEtv. As mentioned above, June and Pumpkin will lock horns in the show again, owing to the matter of Alana’s custody. The promo for the same gave a glimpse at a very shocking revelation. As it turns out, June mentioned that her daughter “blindsided” her with the full custody papers. She said that her family continues to ignore her, and ever since the issue with the “child support” got sorted out, June has barely heard from his girls.
June’s new husband, Justin, was also with her. She told him it had been three years since she got her life on track. Hence, it was unfair that her daughter was still ignoring her for her past mistakes. Well, her partner agreed with her. Justin said one couldn’t beat a “dead horse” but “so many times” and that “nobody’s perfect.” Hence, she must “stand her ground.” Mama June is required to send $800 in child support to her daughter Pumpkin for Alana’s custody.
In the segment, Mama June tells her husband to remind her to write her daughter a cheque. She wanted to do so immediately after getting home and said she couldn’t be late with such a thing. It was clear to the fans that June was annoyed by this, as the tone of her voice gave it away in the video.

In an interview, the main castmate tried to refute the rumors by saying there was no “mudslinging” in the family when she gave up her youngest daughter’s custody to Pumpkin.
June knew that Alana wanted to live with her elder sister. Hence, her mother had no issues with letting this happen. She clarified that all that mattered was Honey Boo Boo’s happiness at the end of the day.
