Recently, this new Sister Wives couple announced their engagement and plans to soon walk down the aisle as well. Amid all this, David and Christine collectively bought a new house and are manifesting a “happily ever after” in it. But several fans have been skeptical about who actually paid for this new purchase. They think that maybe David bought the house as a wedding gift for his queen. There have also been instances when viewers have noticed Woolley showering money on Christine.

David seems to keep Christine above money and has showered a lot on her in the past. Recently, the latter flaunted her 2.5 carats engagement ring, estimated at $70,000. Hence, when Sister Wives viewers learned about the couple’s new dream house, they wondered if Woolley had solely paid for it again. Many reports claim that both Christine and David’s name is on the records of the house. But, there is a fair chance that she might not have equally contributed to the payment, just like her former Sister Wife, Robyn.
However, Christine appears to be a “strong” and “independent” woman. So, she might not have wanted her fiance to pay the entire amount. On the other hand, the star definitely had more than a sufficient amount to contribute. Evidently, she kept the funds of her Flagstaff home, which was $700,000. Even if she spent some amount on her rental residence, she still might have enough money to Dutch for a house worth $770,000. In addition to that, Christine’s Plexus business and her cookery show might also pay her well. Hence, there is a possibility that she stood shoulder-to-shoulder while paying for her new “dream house.”
Sister Wives: Who Gave The Downpayment? Christine Or David?
As per the reports, Christine and David locked the deal for their new house and signed the deeds on March 15, 2023. Hence, it makes it evident that they had to pay for the downpayment on the property to secure their deal. Now the question arises, who would have taken the intiative to do so? Though it is unclear who might have contributed to the downpayment. Whatever the dynamics were, it would have a negative angle for the Sister Wives critics. If David did it, Christine would be accused of using her new beau, while if she did it, Woolley might have to face backlash for the same.
But there is a fair chance that Christine might have paid for the downpayment. Evidently, she is away from the Browns, so she might have saved a lot of money in the last two years. On the other hand, maybe David would contribute after he sells his house in the future. Though his current home is not down on the market, he might sell it in the future.
