Chelsea Houska and Coel De Boer reside in South Dakota with four kids, namely Aubrey, Layne, Watson, and Walker. They received major fame from the show Teen Mom and are now onto something new. The couple left the show in 2020 and moved ahead to start new series, Down Home Fab, on HGTV. It premiered on January 16, 2023, and talked about them building a home in South Dakota. However, this has popped the question of whether they are returning to the upcoming Teen Mom: Family Reunion Season 2 or the next season.
Although the couple earned the limelight from Teen Mom, they seem reluctant to return to it. While the ongoing season of the show does not feature Chelsea and Coel De Boer, fans were wondering if they would make a guest appearance. In an interview with The Ashley, they cleared the air on their return by confirming that they will not return to the show. They wouldn’t be a part of it as main or side appearances. The mother of four stated that the chapter is hard closed for her.
Additionally, she is happy with not opening it up again, even at the smallest bit of the point. Further, the reality-tv star affirmed that there are no bad feelings for Teen Mom, but she has moved on from it. The channel offered her a role, but she adamantly denied it. The couple also confirmed that they do not watch the show and its news. Chelsea and Cole stated that ‘privacy’ was one of the major reasons to quit the show.

Chelsea Houska and Coel De Boer cited that protecting their kids’ privacy is what made them majorly leave the show. Their daughter, Aubree especially comes into the spotlight due to issues with her biological father, Adam. However, the parents wanted to protect their personal lives and hence, chose to discontinue filming for Teen Mom. Although, they are filming for their new series, Down Home Fab, which brought a lot of criticism. Cameras do not give space for privacy, no matter what the show might be.
However, parents Chelsea and Coel have a different take on it. In the interview, the two spoke about this and told Ashley that they never denied being on TV or not making an appearance again. They left Teen Mom because they felt it was the time to do so. Additionally, HGTV does not hinder their kids’ lives and shows and bits of their involvement.
