Summer and Phyllis Reunite, Secrets Are Spilled
It was a squabble with Summer that proved to be the last push Phyllis needed to agree on being Jeremy’s ally on The Young and The Restless. That led to her faking her own death and framing Diane for it with Jeremy’s help. However, the realization of how badly her “death” broke her children was enough to bring her back on the right track. She then wanted nothing more than to return home to her family. But Jeremy couldn’t have it and attacked her. However, Phyllis gained an upper hand and stabbed him in self-defense.
The latest The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Phyllis will now approach Summer. The mother and daughter will have a secret reunion, and Phyllis will tell Summer EVERYTHING that happened. From zero to now! Thankfully for her, Summer will be more than willing to help her. Phyllis’ fake death has made Summer realize what life without her mother would be like. Hence, she will be in no mood to lose her mother again, no matter what. The women will decide to keep Phyllis’ return a secret for now and will try to come up with a strategy meanwhile. What Will Be Phyllis’ Fate On The Young and The Restless
There are many ways Phyllis’ story could head on The Young and The Restless. However, a large part of it would depend on how Summer handles her mother’s secret. As of now, Daniel is not in the loop of reality. Summer will even choose to hide the truth from Kyle. Which may prove to be a disaster on its own. Phyllis can’t keep living in secret forever. Sooner or Later, she will have to reveal herself to everyone. But the key here is how Phyllis and Summer do it.
Perhaps, Summer would act wiser and try to portray that Jeremy kidnapped Phyllis or at least coaxed or blackmailed her into being part of the plan. She could make it look like Phyllis’ mind is all messed up because of Jeremy. This could lead to a trip to a mental health retreat for Phyllis. Post this, she could expect more acceptance from her friends and family.
However, if Summer really chooses to keep everything a secret from Kyle for too long, it could have a disastrous effect on their marriage on The Young and The Restless. The two of them are already hanging by a thread. If Kyle learns Summer kept exonerating evidence for Diane a secret, he would be livid.
